By looking at food diaries and assessing what you eat, when, why, how much and how your lifestyle affects those choices, Lush Fitness will guide you all the way through any changes we may feel you may need small or large that will suit your lifestyle and exercise regime. We will never make you feel pressured and ask too much of you - many people have different habits and Lush Fitness will not expect you to change overnight, we will support you in any way we can and develop these changes over time. Here are just a few general tips for Weight Management and Food Shopping to begin with

  • Start your day with a good breakfast combine slow release energy foods with some protein (poached egg on a wholemeal English muffin)
  • Don't go food shopping on an empty stomach
  • Where you can, avoid counters that have sweets and offers by you while you queue.
  • Learn how to read food labels, the ingredients at the beginning of the list is what the food has the most of. Therefore if a loaf of bread has wholemeal / wholegrain further down in the label, you know it's not as nutritious as it say's.
